Greetings, NetCaptive here.

I started playing minecraft last October. I setup a small 8 person server for my kids and I to play on. That quickly got boring so we started looking for public servers to play on. One of my kids found Mutt's and I joined the community to check it out and make sure it was a safe and friendly place for my children to hang out. Since then, I've been sucked into playing on Survival and Hardcore mainly, but occasionally on PvP.

I toyed with the idea of applying for Ambassador and working my way up through the ranks, but saw a "Technical/Programmers" option which I think fits me a little better. So, I'm applying for a Technical position because, well... I'm quite technical. I've been a Sys Admin (in real life) for 20+ years working with Servers, Routers, Firewalls, Networks (now you know where the name "NetCaptive" come from), Virtual Machines, Windows, Linux, Mac, and more. Anything computer related (aside from programming itself) I've done at some point in my career. I enjoy overcoming technical challenges, sometimes even more than I enjoy gaming (!!).

I run a successful Voice Server hosting business (TS and Ventrilo) so I can help out with that. I currently run a forum for another game community and have been running forums for years, so i can help out there too. I've also got some experience with IRC (i've been using IRC since 1992... no, I'm not kidding).

I realize asking for "server admin" abilities is probably out of the question, however feel free to grab me if something is busted and you can't fix it and we can talk it through -- I might have some ideas.

I am great at HTML, CSS and pretty good with JavaScript I can't make 3D renders or anything like that, just edit the DOM and other stuff like that) and I am in the process of learning PHP, I also have a good knowledge with Java so I could help debug or stuff like that. I run on all sorts of OS's including Windows XP, 7, 8 and Mac OS X Leopard to Mountain lion, and Ubuntu. I have been playing Minecraft since 1.2.3 and Tekkit for almost as long.

Hello Mutts-world staff! My name is Vertain, I am a Website and Media Designer. I found this server through Vertiths YouTube video's : Life of a Admin. I would like to see if I could possibly help you with your IPB template and style. I have ran many website's through Cpanel, Aswell as other Hosting Scripts! I also know the in's and out's of Forum layouts. I owned Abhax, A popular PS2 Gaming forum for the well known game Socom 2. I also had my own Minecraft server for about a year, However it did not receive as much attention as yours! I have already submitted a mod application for the survival server but I feel like this type of job would be very good for me. The computer languages that I am good at is HTML, CSS, PHP, and a little C++. Another task I would be able to perform would be trying to find out how to fix glitches to keep people from cheating. The Operating systems that I can use are DOS, UNIX, Windows (including Windows 8), Ubuntu, Fedora, and CentOS. I know that I may be younger than most people applying but that does not mean that I can't be just advanced in this field. Thank you for your time.
