Which server(s) are you applying for? Survival

Which position you're applying for: Moderator

How long have you been a part of the server/forums? I have been playing on the Server for at least six or seven months.

Have you had any experience as staff on other servers? Very little. :/

Are you familiar with some of the server plug-ins staff members use? I'm trying to get familiar with the plugins I have done some research into Herochat, worldEdit, and LogBlock, and have printed out the commands for each.

Why do you think you should be a moderator on this server? I enjoy helping people, and I'm on at least 2 hours everyday except on Friday. Also usually when I'm on there is only one mod on, and sometimes there aren't any staff on at all.

Are you active in our community? Yes I am. I try to help answer people's questions on the server when they ask, I'm on team speak almost everyday, I get into the forums everyday, and I'm trying to get into IRC more often.

Any other information you would like to share with us: I'm a maintenance tech. at Webco. If anyone would like to know more about me feel free to ask.

From how much I talk to you, I think I can safely say you wouldn't be that bad of a choice. If not moderator, maybe Ambassador, work your way up the ranks, ya know?

You're aware of the plug-ins now, I see you on Teamspeak often.

If you can be on for those hours when there's not much staff on, that's definitely beneficial. Though it can get a little out of hand with Modreq's being the only person on at times.

But yeah, I'd probably lean more towards saying yes.

Straight forward application. Simple and to the point, but personally I cannot remember having met you. This could be from a variety of reasons, most likely being a significantly different time-zone. Anyhoot, Learning the commands and proper useage of them is not hard and can be picked up fairly quickly.

One thing I must mention is my having never seen you in IRC, which is the staff's main method of communication, but once again could be related to different time zones.
I will wait to see what other staff members have to comment on this.

Personally I've never met you, or if I have it has escaped my memory. But you're qualified and you seem decent enough. It would be nice to meet you sooner than later tho

I've found Kawika to be sociable, thoughtful and he cares about this server. He's honest. I like him. I've known him for a while now. His place is right near mine and I see him there when I'm online. He's always very friendly and asking questions about what I do as a Mod. He's happy as a player but is looking for more to do with the server and for the server. I've spent some time with him while we try to jointly manage the area around our villages. I've always thought he'd be a good Mod.
