I suppose im one of those so called idiots you claim someone is when they update to 1.3. I do not keep tabs on this website and didn't realize the server was going to be unusable for those who did this. I downloaded the minecraft.jar...when i open it...some error pops up. I tried using mcpatcher to take patch off...no good. Is there any other way cause I'd like to play..

You don't open the .jar you just need to copy it to the minecraft folder and replace the other .jar. Otherwise, remove everything, re-install minecraft and replace the .jar again

So it seems I can't find my minecraft folder. I downloaded it from the site. Oh well. lol

I don't understand why people don't just GOOGLE a problem when running into one. "minecraft folder location", how hard can it be....
