Minecraft Quarterly -- Accepting Submissions
Apr 15 2012 05:33 PM | Custergrant in Minecraft
Hello MuttsWorld!
My name is Casey, and I am the Editor-in-Chief of an upcoming, electronic magazine all about Minecraft, Minecraft Quarterly. At the suggestion of mumblerit, I am here to announce the magazine, and to tell you that we are currently accepting submissions. The goal of the magazine is to really unify information across the Minecraft world, and present it in an interesting and fun way to both server administrators and casual players. Content will include player trends, plugin developments, server showcases (MuttsWorld is one!), player spotlights, and more. In addition to that, the magazine is already sponsored by a number of big-name servers, as well as attracting the interest of Bukkit and Planet Minecraft.
Our first issue is slated for release on June 1, 2012 as a summer issue. While the featured articles have already been decided, I am asking you to contribute for additional content. As long as it is tasteful and relevant to Minecraft, it should be applicable (we have an editorial team to review it). Also, if you know someone who has a really interesting project here on the server, take some screenshots and write a short blurb about it. We are very supportive of Minecraft creations. Finally, if we receive enough contributions, we plan on turning this into a monthly magazine, but we need the support first.
Attached is the cover of the first issue to get you interested.
If you have any questions, I'll be stopping by regularly. If you have a submission, you can either post it here, or email me directly at c.f.burton @ mst.edu.
Thank you very much!

2 it's online?
3 if isn't free where i can buy it?
And That's a good idea!
Any remaining proceeds after we cover our production costs are actually directed back at the community. There will be a submission in the magazine for this, but we're going to accept funding proposals for community (not just MuttsWorld, but the entire online community) services/events, as well as plugin/mod developments, and award some with funding as well as coverage in the magazine.
So you're not only paying for the production of the magazine, you're paying for better plugins and community events.
EDIT: OKay I sent the e-mail - CHEERS MATE!
Wanted to update that pre-orders are available on our website, mcquarterly.com, and that we have a website!
Submissions are still welcome, too. Simply submit via the website under "Contact Us".
