Staff for MuttsWorld

If only I was older =) I would be perfect for this, as I know how to look after the server, am fluent with Bukkit plugins & love Muttsworld! (aussie FTW!)

I wouldn't mind something like this, but I'm under 18

Because most of the time people under the age of 18 do not have the maturity to take on that position also sometimes people under the age of 18 still like to play minecraft to build and mine and create and may take there position of moderator as not very serious and over abuse it to there own advantage.

Im not really interested in being a mod. I enjoy playing the game to be honest, but If you think I would be a good fit, just tell me. I think I have an old app up somewhere...

If you guys really need more staff, I would try maybe allowing people under 18 to apply? I've talked to many people in the past who talk, sound, and act like people over 18, but are actually like 14 or 15...

You also have to realize that a lot of people over 18 are in college, working, or hanging out with friends. This can make it difficult for them to play MuttsWorld enough to really be helpful in moderating... However, a lot of kids under 18 don't have jobs, and have TONS of free-time, and play MuttsWorld a lot. I think you should try to be more open to younger people. Of course, moderators should definitely be AT LEAST 15 or 16; some people that are below that may have trouble with all the "power" and responsibility that comes with moderator...

I think that you should be open to people ages 12/13+ for Ambassador and 15+ for Moderator. Its going to be very difficult for you to find people over*(I changed this) 18 who are committed enough to actually be Ambassador or Moderator.

Hey sarge, I would quit playing on mutts if they started getting a bunch of 12-13 year old ambassadors. I don't think it's worth arguing with the server owner about how old he wants his staff to be.

It isn't that they aren't commited. Just lacking maturity that comes with age.

I somewhat agree. Older people have other jobs and more stuff to work on. As kids, We have tons of free time. Sadly, We don't get taken seriously so it is harder for us to stand out and seem mature. But also, Its mumbles server so he gets to choose what is more important to him, experienced and literate younger staff or experienced and literate older staff that aren't as active.

Hopefully this will bring some great new mods, Muttsworld needs you!

I quit survival for the lack of moderators among various other things. If the server needed more moderators I would happily help out.

HELL NO. Now keep in mind there are some of those whose maturity can far surpass mine at times.. BUT I personally feel that the age should and forever stay over 18+... Modding can be very intimidating at first , at least thats how i feel it and im only mod on Tekkit. As far as Ambassadork position goes its easier to get younger.

As an adult I can relate to that we have alot to do yes. But! Mumble is only asking an hour or 2 of your time. Me personally wouldnt go for the mod application bcus Im weak in general and I would cheat for the projects I build xD And I would be a crumpy mod with short temper. And I wouldnt have the urge to learn worldedit and I would probalby fudge things up ^^

I am over 18 however i know squat about plugins so i doubt mod is for me, i can submit an app though.
